An email went
out to a small group concerning the lack of representation in
town government and the need for a lake association

With the
support of this group a domain name was purchased and website
began to take shape

The first WLA
Meeting was organized at Point Breeze

Officers were

A charity
softball game was held with the staff of Point Breeze to benefit
the Hole-In-The-Wall Gang

With the help
of Representative Paul Kujawski and Senator Moore, the WLA was
able to get a commitment from Secretary Durand (Executive Office
of Environmental Affairs) to begin funding of a Sediment Control
Program for Webster Lake. The total program commitment was for
$4.35 million.

Town Meeting process we succeeded in amending a by-law regarding
