Meeting At Point Breeze Tuesday, August 8, at 7:00 P.M.
President's Report
-
Year-end report on
lake programs – summary- Dick reported on the weed treatments,
new survey and motion was made to approve $3600 for GeoSyntech
to conduct a new assessment on the health of the lake.

New items of
concern Membership is still consistent but we really feel that
the residents of the lake should all be aware and contribute to
the mission that we undertake which benefits us all. There
will be an additional mailing going out soon
-
Last chance to
purchase raffle tickets for tonight’s drawing Webster lake
water was introduced as a fundraiser for Webster Sports at the
HS. Call Lisa Russo 943-8295 to support this worthy
fundraiser ($12 per case)

There is a new
site for the French River Association that was sent out.
Take a look.

Memberships are
also available and we need to support each other’s efforts as we
are all working for the same objectives.

Nominations for VP, Treasurer, 1 member from each pond

New board members
are Richard Coes from Middle Pond and Jim Winslow from South
Pond; Re elected were Brian Houlihan from Middle Pond and Gloria
Ricker from North Pond; Paul Turner was elected Treasurer; Jane
Hill was re-elected Vice President.

Golf tournament
report=Mitch gave a report on plans which are exciting. We
do need members to support our new fundraiser by getting
sponsors, volunteering to assist that day (Oct. 1) and by
sending in fees for golf teams. Call Janet Anderson or
Mitch Pizetti if you have questions

Raffle report-Judy
and Linda thanked everyone who helped sell tickets. After
a slow start, we ended up selling over 200 tickets and will
realize approximately $10,000. Thanks.

Reminder of
Killdeer Island Road Race. Contact Peter Luchina to participate
or assist on Sept. 9

Ken Parker spoke
about the up coming cleanup Aug 26 and is in need of waders.
He thanked the National Park Service for their grant, the WLA
for assisting with sponsoring; reminded us of membership to the
French River and the new site on our link.
