President's Report
- Update on storm water funds and
plans
- ACT, the town and Paul are working
on sending out information for members on weed treatment, raking and
town treatment. Notices will be in the local papers and you will
receive updates next meeting
- Decals - We are currently
researching decals to be displayed on cars, boats, trains, planes
and businesses. Members will receive them as comps and others will
be available for purchase etc. Dick will have an update next meeting
- Reminder to attend town meetings,
and committee meetings. Article 28 will again come up and we should
be there to support this
- Introduce the idea of endowments
and corporate membership. Our Legal Council is researching these and
we will have news in June
Vice President's Report
- Newsletter mailing – Reminder to
send any interesting items to Jane for the newsletter which will be
printed on an as needed basis. Some of the members mailings have
been wonderful so keep up the good work
- Reminder of membership – dues
payable June 30th – on mailing label You may pay these dues, and pay
for your raffle ticket June 13
Secretary's Report
- Membership update 0 Over 500 but
we all need to encourage our neighbors and new lake residents to
join. For $20 the benefits are great, if we all spoke to one or two
non-members and gave them information, applications and history, we
could do more. Our members contribute in many ways but we would like
to get 100% of lake residents to join. * Linda and Jane will work on
applications and info for you to take at the June meeting

- Financial report- Ernie motioned

Environmental Committee Report
- Ernie reported on equipment
rental, training, dates for WQT, relationship with French River,
Quinebaugg and how our collection and compilation of data is
essential to future protection of the lake
- Weed Update • Paul and Dick will
mail out information on weed treatment, raking etc. in the next few
weeks. Areas to be treated with town funds are the beach,. Nipmuc
cove and Fairfield Ave for Fanwort. Milfoil will again be treated in
troubled spots after this and then Act will survey for Pondweed
which is becoming a nuisance
FUN-draisers Committee Report
- Golf Tournament- brochures will be
mailed out soon and plans are well underway for a great tournament
in Oct.
- Raffle plans-tickets will be sent
to all members first and then offered to the public after July 14
